These events are free, family-friendly, and open to the community, inviting everyone to learn, celebrate, and connect.

Anchor Event: Family Fun Day
Sunday, February 16, 2025 | 3:00 – 5:00 PM | Music Depot, Rogers, AR
Join us for an afternoon of creativity, education, and entertainment at our Family Fun Day at Music Depot. This free, all-ages event features:

  • Crafts: Hands-on activities to spark creativity.

  • Educational Performances: Live showcases highlighting Black traditions and culture.

  • Short Film: A screening of a curated piece celebrating Black heritage.

  • Games & Food: Fun for the entire family!

This event is open to all and offers an opportunity for the community to come together in celebration of Black art, culture, and history.

From the comfort of your home, tune into our Facebook page for the premiere of “Celebrating Black American Innovation”, an inspiring short film curated by Music Moves. Narrated by renowned educators Superintendent John L. Colbert and Deborah Bradford, the film highlights the remarkable achievements of 25 influential Black inventors who shaped American society. Gather your family and explore this powerful story of creativity and innovation.

School Tours
Throughout February, Music Moves will bring its mission directly to local schools, using music as a vehicle to teach students about the traditions, cultures, and history of Black Americans. These tours inspire and educate the next generation, ensuring that the stories and legacies of Black Americans are never forgotten.
