Sunday Service – Darius Nelson

Celdarius nelson gospel musicebrate Black Music Month with Darius Nelson for Sunday Service! This weekly Gospel music series will premiere on Music Moves social media platforms every Sunday in June. Each Sunday Service will feature a different artist and will play at both 12pm and 6pm.

Darius Nelson holds the distinction of being the first full-time, African-American Worship Leader in the State of Arkansas. He is a founding member of one of Arkansas’ favorite gospel guy groups, Purity and the award-winning director of the St. Mark Sanctuary Choir. Mr. Nelson is a celebrated recording artist and songwriter, selected to teach and perform his song “The Apology” at the National Convention of Choirs and Choruses.
This gifted Psalmist and Leader led his choir all the way to the White House where they were invited to provide music for President Barack Obama’s last Christmas Party while in office.
