Michael’s current single “Get Up On It” peaked at #28 on the Smooth Jazz top 100 charts. Music he’s produced has hit the Billboard top 30 and remained in the top 30 for 9 weeks. His gifts on the Bass are complimented by his skilled production and composing chops. As a bassist, he has performed with such notable names as: Marcus Miller, Peabo Bryson, and others. He has recorded with notable artist such as Ben Tankard, Walter Beasley,  among others. The North Carolina Native has been inspired tremendously by the music of Victor Wooten, Bootsie Collins & the late great Wayman Tisdale.
